Grant Description

Increase Community Health & Provide Emergency Relief

Since its founding in 1901, Walgreens Co. and its employees have recognized the connection between strong communities and good business. The Walgreens motto, "The Pharmacy America Trusts," reflects the company's belief in ethical business practices and their respect for the dedication of Walgreens employees in improving the quality of life in their communities. As Walgreens grows, and brings stores to new markets and new neighborhoods, the company also brings a tradition of supporting the health needs of patients. Because Walgreens cannot support every worthy program, they have developed guidelines to help eligible nonprofit organizations understand our priorities, values, and limitations.
