Assistance to Firefighters Grants (AFG)FEMA – Sept. 25, 2015 – The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) did not announce new awards for the FY2014 Assistance to Firefighters Grant (AFG) fire grants program. The most recent award round was Sept. 18.

To-date FEMA has awarded 2,155 awards totaling $283,740,223 to Fire Service organizations throughout the US:

  • Operations and Safety: 1,923 awards, $213,991,674
  • Vehicle Acquisitions: 199 awards, $61,724,612
  • Fire Academies: 33 awards, $8,719,937
