I don’t know where to begin to thank you for this class. I knew I had a lot to learn, but I had no idea how much. I walked away with vital information for my work with Sipesville Volunteer Fire Co., as well as important tips for all grants that I write. My husband was glad to have been included as he is my proof reader. He too came away with newfound information that will be crucial to my success for SVFC. Your energy, knowledge and experience are certainly a force to be reckoned with.
I began my personal career as an educator (I taught high school English and journalism) and vowed to never bore my students. Well, you most certainly have that ability to keep everyone engaged in your information. No one there was anything but paying attention to your every word. You have a gift and I thank you for sharing it with such an important group of community servants.
I remain humbled to be working with our local first responders and am learning more with every encounter. I will be meeting with their President soon and am anxious to share what I have learned with him. And now I am ready to get started on the 2015 AFG grant.
