Training Terms & Critical Information
To keep our tuition at $499 and minimize costs for agencies, we operate differently than other companies. We are hosted by local public safety agencies to avoid venue rental costs. Because of this, we adhere to the following policies:
- Cancellation/Refunds: If you cannot attend, we will transfer your registration to another in-person or online class. If we cancel, you may transfer or request a full refund. Note: Refunds paid by credit card are refunded minus the processing fees charged to First Responder Grants.
- Payment: Full payment is due at least 10 days before training. If registering within 10 days of the start date, payment is due the day before training begins.
- Minimum Class Size: Training is contingent upon a minimum of 15 pre-registered students. If this minimum is not met 30 days prior to the event, the host agency may reschedule or cancel.
- Travel Warning: Do not book non-refundable travel until within the 30-day window and after confirming the class is “locked in.” First Responder Grants is not responsible for travel costs.
- Handouts: Handouts are provided electronically (PDF/Word) via email one week prior. You are responsible for printing these and bringing them to class.
Exclusive Student Discounts
Graduates of our training receive exclusive pricing on further support:
- Grant Services Package (AGSP): Students who sign up for our Annual Grant Services Package within 30 days of training receive a 10% discount off the normal price (saving you $150).
- Consulting Services: All students receive discounts on First Responder Grants writing, editing, and consulting services.
