$110,675 replaced 21 sets of SCBA
The Philipstown-North Highlands Fire District retained the services of First Responder Grants to assist us in applying for the Assistance to Firefighters Grant Program. Our department had no real experience in either applying for grants nor working knowledge of the program itself. Kurt Bradley contacted us and from the very beginning has been invaluable to us in not only preparing to apply to the program but, in helping us to develop a proper application to the program. We were especially impressed with his level of communication with us and keeping us informed at every step of this process.
We applied to the 2013 Assistance to Firefighters Grant and on July 25, 2014, we were awarded $110,675 to replace 21 sets of SCBA for our department. Needless to say, we attribute Kurt’s expertise and experience as being largely responsible for our success with this project. We would highly recommend him and First Responder Grants to any department seeking to become more adept and successful at receiving grants for their department. The cost for a year’s worth of services from his company was extremely reasonable, especially in light of the return on investment that we have received.
