The Sheldon Vermont Fire Department successfully secured AFG grants in both the 2022 and 2023 cycles, thanks to our collaboration with Greg Bavis of First Responder Grants. Greg’s expertise has been pivotal, helping us secure over $220,000 in funding for equipment that enhances both our safety and efficiency. His guidance has not only improved our grant applications but also deepened our understanding of our community, its infrastructure, and the challenges we face.
Greg’s insights into grant priorities, cost-benefit analysis, and needs assessment have enabled us to produce more comprehensive and compelling documents.
Additionally, the grant writer fees have been fully reimbursed through the awards we received.
