Our department had a great need to add additional firefighters due to our efforts to increase our minimum staffing from 3 to 4 personnel on each fire apparatus.
After a few attempts at navigating through the FEMA Fire Act grant process, we decided that we needed a professional grant writer to assist us with the SAFER grant request for six new firefighter positions.
First Responder Grants quickly accepted the challenge, and we were successful in our request.
They made the process pain free for us and we didn’t spend a great amount of time trying to write a grant. Their knowledge of the process is second to none. I look forward to working with them again in the future.
