Marana Police Department awarded over 120,000 in grants for new equipment and DUI control
The money comes from the Governor’s office of Highway Safety.
$4.8 Million in Grants Awarded to Enhance Public Safety in U.S. Virgin Islands
The $4.8 million in federal grants aims to enhance crime prevention, support victims, and improve law enforcement across the USVI, funding youth programs, technological upgrades, substance abuse treatment, and community safety initiatives
Culpeper County Sheriff’s Office receives $75K federal grant for body-worn camera program
The $75,000 grant was the second-highest amount awarded in Virginia, according to U.S. Rep. Abigail Spanberger, whose office announced the grant. The Culpeper County Sheriff’s Office intends to purchase 47 body-worn cameras and related equipment with the money, according to a news release from the congresswoman’s office.
Floyd County Police Department recieves H.E.A.T. grant
The Governor’s Office of Highway Safety has announced that the Floyd County Police Department is one of 26 law enforcement agencies in Georgia to receive a Highway Enforcement of Aggressive Traffic grant for the Federal 2025 Fiscal Year. Referred to as a H.E.A.T. grant, Floyd County Police Department’s award totals $99,908.64.
CPD IS AWARDED THE STATEWIDE LOCAL SHARE ACCOUNT GRANT
The Chambersburg Police Department was notified it was being awarded $327,465 in the Statewide Local Share Account grant, from the Commonwealth Financing Authority to replace police vehicles, and aging mobile data computers, and license plate readers.
