$24.6 million in AFG fire grants awarded by FEMA
On July 26, 2024, FEMA announced Round 3 of FY 2023 fire grant awards under the Assistance to Firefighters Grant Program (AFGP).
Round 3 awarded 177 AFG fire grant awards, totaling approximately $24.6 million, to Fire Service organizations across the USA.
All awards were under the Operations and Safety program. To date, 564 fire grants totaling $88,659,341 have been awarded.
Since 2015 alone, FEMA has awarded nearly 20,000 fire grants under the AFG program. More award details available here from FEMA.
