State Farm’s community grants focus on three areas that can help “build safer, stronger and better educated communities across the United States:”
- Safety
- Education
- Community development
What this grant does for your agency
National and local funding is directed toward:
- Auto and roadway safety
- Teen Driver Education
- Home safety and fire prevention
- Disaster preparedness
- Disaster recovery
Agencies awarded the State Farm Good Neighbor Citizenship Company Grants receive grants of at least $5,000.
Grant decisions will be communicated to the grant applicants via email from October 1, 2020 – March 31, 2021.
Grant amount requested must be $5,000 or more.
Only a limited number of grants will be awarded.
Grant Eligibility

Charitable contributions may be awarded to:
- Educational institutions
- Programs conducted by Municipal, county, state or federal government entities that align with the State Farm® charitable focus.
- 501(c)(3) charitable nonprofit organizations
- 501(c)(4) volunteer fire companies
- 501(c)(6) chambers of commerce
