$228,894 AFG fire grant replaces SCBA

Boothbay Fire Department in Maine held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate new SCBA going into service.

A $228,894 AFG fire grant from the FY 2024 federal grant program funded the SCBA replacement.

“We have put the SCBAs into service,” says Mark Sullivan with the Boothbay Fire Department. “It’s just been such a great journey working with First Responder Grants over the last two years. We greatly appreciate all that you have done and your strategic advice and support through the entire process.
