The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has announced the fifteenth award round for the FY2012 Staffing for Adequate Fire & Emergency Response Grants (SAFER).
FEMA awarded $1,199,986 in Hiring Fire Grants to 5 departments. Award amounts ranged from a $171,450 Hiring fire grant, awarded to the Siletz RFPD, Siletz, OR, to a $393,000 Recruitment fire grant award to the East Great Plain Fire Department, Norwich, CT.
