The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has announced the thirtieth award round for the FY2012 Staffing for Adequate Fire & Emergency Response Grants (SAFER).
FEMA awarded $3,281,564 in Fire Grants to 6 departments nationwide. Award amounts ranged from a $274,730 Recruitment Fire Grant to the Driggs Fire Department, Magazine, AR, to a $862,760 Hiring Fire Grant to the Tuolumne County Fire Department, Sonora, CA.
