$42,062,561 Fire Grants Awarded in Round 3 FY2015 Assistance to Firefighters Grants (AFG)

Assistance to Firefighters Grants (AFG)After a 2-week hiatus, the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has announced 277 Round 3 awards for the FY2015 Assistance to Firefighters Grants (AFG). Fire Service organizations receiving awards totalling $42,062,561 include:

  • $45,239, Equipment and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), Operations and Safety, Springfield Valley Volunteer Fire Company, Springfield, WV
  • $88,516, Modify Facilities, Operations and Safety, Nevada County Consolidated Fire District, Grass Valley, CA
  • $118,547, Equipment, Regional Request, Scarborough Fire Department, Scarborough, ME
  • $304,673, Equipment ($335,140), State Fire Training Academy, Delaware State Fire School, Dover, DE
  • $431,819, Vehicle Acquisition, Vehicle Acquisition, Klamath County Fire District No. 1, Klamath Falls, OR
  • $856,819, Personal Protective Equipment, Operations and Safety, Indian River County Fire Rescue, Vero Beach, FL
