$8,515,268 in Fire Grants Awarded in Round 19 AFG 2014

Assistance to Firefighters Grants (AFG)FEMA – Sept. 25, 2015 – The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has announced the nineteenth award round for the FY2014 Assistance to Firefighters Grant (AFG) fire grants program.

FEMA awarded $8,515,268 to 85 Fire Service organizations throughout the US. Awards included:

  • $143,810, Operations and Safety, Modify Facilities ($151,000), Ocean City Fire Department, Ocean City, MD
  • $147,620, Vehicle Acquisition, Vehicle Acquisition ($155,000), Fyffe Fire/Rescue, Fyffe, AL
  • $182,478, Regional Request, Personal Protective Equipment ($191,600), Jamesport Fire Department, Jamesport, NY
