Public safety grant news from FEMA
FEMA’s Hazard Mitigation Assistance Fiscal Year 2022 (FY 2022) grant cycle is coming to a close! By 3 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST) on January 27, 2023, subapplications for Building Resilient Infrastructure and Communities (BRIC) and Flood Mitigation Assistance (FMA) grant funding must be submitted on FEMA Grants Outcomes (FEMA GO). To request BRIC non-financial Direct Technical Assistance (DTA), please use the submission form found here (Spanish submission form available here). Subapplications and submission forms received after 3 p.m. EST on Jan. 27, 2023, will not be considered.
- For assistance with FEMA GO, please email the FEMA GO Helpdesk at [email protected] or call 1-877-585-3242 no later than 3 p.m. Eastern Standard Time on Wednesday, January 25, 2023.
- Subapplications for FY 2022 BRIC grant funding that address localized flood risk reduction should also be submitted to the FMA grant program for funding consideration.
