The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has announced the twelfth award round for the FY2012 Fire Prevention & Safety Grants (FP&S) program.
FEMA awarded 19 Fire Prevention grants, totaling $4,966,250, to departments and organizations around the country. Award amounts ranged from an $8,000 Fire Prevention grant, awarded to the Fairfield Fire Department, Fairfield, CA, to a $999,988 Research grant, awarded to the North Carolina State University, Raleigh, NC.
