The Ford Disaster Relief Mobility Challenge helps communities respond to natural disasters. Departments receiving an award from the Ford Disaster Relief Vehicle Grant receive funds to purchase and customize a Ford Transit to help your agency respond to natural disasters.
What this grant does for your agency
The Ford Transit offers the flexibility to fit any business by offering a cargo van or passenger wagon plus your choice of three roof heights, three lengths and two wheelbases. Also available is the choice of three engines along with a seemingly endless list of upfitting options.
Agencies awarded the Ford Disaster Relief Vehicle Grant Program receive funds to purchase and outfit a Ford Transit for disaster response.
3 grants of $70,000 will be awarded.

- Non-Profit, City, County, or Town Government
- The vehicles must be used to respond to natural disasters; defined as any event that is caused by nature and causes great damage such as a flood, earthquake or fire.
