The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has announced the seventh award round for the FY2012 Fire Prevention & Safety Grants (FP&S) program.
FEMA awarded 13 Fire Prevention grants, totaling $1,442,000, to departments and organizations around the country. Award amounts ranged from a $6,800 Fire Prevention grant, awarded to the Springfield Fire Department, Springfield, MO, to a $591,578 Fire Prevention grant, awarded to the FDNY Foundation, Brooklyn, NY.
