$1,822,295 Fire Grants Awarded in Round 16 FP&S 2012

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has announced the sixteenth award round for the FY2012 Fire Prevention & Safety Grants (FP&S) program.

FEMA awarded 5 Fire Prevention grants, totaling $1,822,295, to departments and organizations around the country. Award amounts ranged from a $67,600 Fire Prevention grant, awarded to the South Kitsap Fire Rescue, Port Orchard, WA, to a $999,367 Fire Prevention grant, awarded to the International Association of Fire Fighters, Washington, DC.
