$28,344,888 in Fire Grants Awarded in Round 16 AFG 2014

Assistance to Firefighters Grants (AFG)FEMA – Sept. 4, 2015 – The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has announced the sixteenth award round for the FY2014 Assistance to Firefighters Grant (AFG) fire grants program.

FEMA awarded $28,344,888 to 221 Fire Service organizations throughout the US. Awards included:

  • $108,118, Equipment, Operations and Safety, Mason County Fire Protection District 5, Allyn, WA
  • $272,300, Equipment, Operations and Safety, Dayton Fire Department, Dayton, OH
  • $366,819, Personal Protective Equipment, Operations and Safety, St. Tammay Parish Fire District #12, Covington, LA
  • $410,455, Vehicle Acquisition, Vehicle Acquisition, Decatur Fire & Rescue, Decatur, AL
  • $704,091, Personal Protective Equipment, Operations and Safety, Everett Fire Department, Everett, WA
