The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has announced the twentieth award round for the FY2012 Staffing for Adequate Fire & Emergency Response Grants (SAFER).
FEMA awarded $3,674,782 in Hiring Fire Grants to 10 departments. Award amounts ranged from a $23,698 Recruitment fire grant, awarded to the Honey Brook Fire Company, Honey Brook, PA, to a $880,600 Recruitment fire grant award to the Colorado State Fire Chiefs, Centennial, CO.
