The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has announced the eighteenth award round for the FY2012 Staffing for Adequate Fire & Emergency Response Grants (SAFER).
FEMA awarded $4,048,166 in Hiring Fire Grants to 19 departments. Award amounts ranged from a $30,121 Recruitment fire grant, awarded to the Middletown Fire Protection District, Louisville, KY, to a $735,484 Recruitment fire grant award to the Cowlitz 2 Fire & Rescue, Kelso, WA.
