The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has announced the thirty-fourth award round for the FY2012 Staffing for Adequate Fire & Emergency Response Grants (SAFER).
FEMA awarded 3 Hiring Fire grants, totaling $4,461,739, to the following departments around the country:
- Boiling Springs Fire Department, Boiling Springs, SC, $193,500
- Renton Fire & Emergency Services, Renton, WA, $1,131,396
- Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department, Fairfax, VA, $3,136,843
