The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has announced the fourth award round for the FY2013 Staffing for Adequate Fire & Emergency Response Grants (SAFER).
FEMA awarded 13 Fire grants, totaling $5,563,108, to departments around the country. Award amounts ranged from a $85,198 Hiring grant, awarded to Four Oaks Volunteer Fire Department, Inc., Four Oaks, NC, to a $758,952 Hiring grant, awarded to the Marysville Fire Department, Marysville, CA.
