FEMA has announced Round 8 fire grant winners for the FY2016 Assistance to Firefighters Grants (AFG). FEMA awarded 179 fire grants totaling $23,517,336, including:
- Bellevue Fire Department, Bellevue, WA, Operations and Safety, $92,861, Wellness and Fitness Programs
- Buechel Fire Protection District, Louisville, KY, Operations and Safety, $47,240, Modify Facilities
- City of Kennewick Fire Department, Kennewick, WA, Regional Request, $470,319, Equipment
- Elko County Fire Protection District, Elko, NV, Regional Request, $13,637, Equipment
- Laurel, City of, Laurel, MS, Operations and Safety, $247,805, Personal Protective Equipment
