The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has announced the second award round for the FY2014 Assistance to Firefighters Grant (AFG) fire grants program.
FEMA awarded $6,553,974 to 45 Fire Service organizations throughout the US. Awards included:

- $98,182 Operations and Safety Grant, EMS Equipment, Jessamine County Division of EMS, Nicholasville, KY
- $103,637 Operations and Safety, EMS Equipment, Fulton County Emergency Medical Association, Canton, IL
- $260,870 State Fire Training Academy, Vehicle Acquisition Fire Grant, Puerto Rico State Fire Department, San Juan, PR
- $302,274 Training Fire Grant, Edmond Fire Department, Edmond, OK (Regional Request)
- $478,819 Operations and Safety Fire Grant to Modify Facilities and Procure Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), St. Petersburg Fire & Rescue, Saint Petersburg, FL)
