The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has announced the sixteenth award round for the FY2012 Staffing for Adequate Fire & Emergency Response Grants (SAFER).
FEMA awarded $5,869,210 in Hiring Fire Grants to 6 departments. Award amounts ranged from a $16,200 Recruitment fire grant, awarded to the Allentown Volunteer Fire Department, Allentown, GA, to a $2,856,816 Hiring fire grant award to the Rialto Fire Department, Rialto, CA.
