The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has announced the eighteenth award round for the FY2012 Assistance to Firefighters Grant Program (AFGP).
FEMA awarded $6,902,780 in Operations and Safety Fire Grants to 61 agencies. Award amounts for Fire Grants ranged from a $3,012 Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) grant, awarded to the Akron Fire Company Inc., Akron, NY, to a $678,060 Equipment grant award to the Washington Township Volunteer Fire Department, Columbia City, IN.
