Staffing for Adequate Fire and Emergency Response (SAFER) GrantsThe Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has announced 24 Round 6 awards for the FY2015 Staffing for Adequate Fire & Emergency Response (SAFER).   • $444,594, Hiring, City of Fort Dodge Fire Department, Fort Dodge, IA
  • $773,068, Hiring, Barstow Fire Protection District, barstow, CA
  • $822,580, Recruitment, East Rockaway Fire Department, East Rockaway, NY
  • $1,007,352, Hiring, City of Niles Fire Department, Niles, OH
  • $1,673,558, Hiring, City of Jackson, Jackson, MI
  • $5,994,660, Hiring, North Hudson Regional Fire & Rescue, West New York, NJ
