The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has announced 207 Round 13 awards for the FY2015 Assistance to Firefighters Grants (AFG). The previous award round, Round 12, was announced Aug. 26. Fire Service organizations receiving awards totaling $23,716,978 include:

  • $95,239, Modify Facilities ($100,000), Operations and Safety, All volunteer, Kingsville Volunteer Fire Company, Kingsville
  • $128,572, EMS Equipment ($135,000), Operations and Safety, All Paid/Career, Lawrence County Ambulance Service, Lawrenceville
  • $342,182, Vehicle Acquisition ($375,000), Vehicle Acquisition, All Paid/Career, City of Soledad, Soledad
  • $350,191, Vehicle Acquisition ($367,500), Vehicle Acquisition, All volunteer, Montague Volunteer Fire Department, Montague
