Assistance to Firefighters Grants (AFG)FEMA has announced Round 1 fire grant winners for the FY2016 Assistance to Firefighters Grants (AFG). FEMA awarded 75 fire grants totaling $14,464,610, including:

  • Terra Alta Community Ambulance Squad Inc., Terra Alta, WV, Operations and Safety, $10,646.00, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Atlantic Highlands First Aid and Safety Squad, Inc., Atlantic Highlands, NJ, Operations and Safety, $14,453, EMS Equipment
  • Department of Public Safety Standards & Training, Salem, OR, State Fire Training Academy, $469,566, Equipment
  • Alabama Fire College, Tuscaloosa, AL, State Fire Training Academy, $326,087, Equipment
  • Mississippi State Fire Academy, Jackson, MS, State Fire Training Academy, $391,305, Vehicle Acquisition
