FY 2013 AFG applicants will be required to assert as part of their application that their department has an active registration within the System for Award Management (SAM), www.SAM.gov. FY 2013 AFG applications will not be accepted without this assertion.
It is strongly recommended that all potential applicants validate that they have a current and active registration in SAM.gov, or register if they do not. The SAM.gov registration process may take up to 2 weeks to complete during peak activity times so don’t delay.
