The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has announced the sixth award round for the FY2013 Fire Prevention & Safety Grants (FP&S) fire grants program.
FEMA awarded $2,250,667 to 13 Fire Service organizations throughout the US:

- $23,750, Firefighter Behavioral Health Alliance, Palatine, IL
- $55,452, Alternative Community Resource Program, Johnstown, PA
- $95,570, Boise Fire Fighters IAFF Local 149, Boise, ID
- $393,300, Cumberland Valley Volunteer Firemen’s Association, Hagerstown, MD
- $743,508, Institution of Fire Engineers, Alexandria, VA
