June 7, 2016 – Of the 100 Round 4 FY2015 Assistance to Firefighters Grants (AFG) winners announced June 4, 2016, three were First Responder Grants clients and students.
The Yucca Fire Department of Arizona is a First Responder Grants client. YFD received a $47,620 Operations and Safety Equipment for new Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
In addition to YFD, 2 previous First Responder Grants students and clients won Operations and Safety Equipment fire grants for new Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). One award was for $1,121,873 as part of a regional grant. The other fire grant was for $531,819.
