$9,653,537 in Fire Grants Awarded in Round 4 AFG 2014

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has announced the fourth award round for the FY2014 Assistance to Firefighters Grant (AFG) fire grants program. No awards were announced on May 15.

FEMA awarded $9,653,537 to 75 Fire Service organizations throughout the US. Awards included:

  • $7,273, Operations and Safety, Training, West Allis Fire Department, Milwaukee, WI
  • $25,662, Operations and Safety, Training, Hattiesburg Fire Department, Hattiesburg, MS
  • $52,858, Regional Request, Equipment, St. Cloud Firemans Association, St. Cloud, WI
  • $153,637, Operations and Safety, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), Hagerstown Fire Department, Hagerstown, MD
  • $256,273, Operations and Safety, Equipment, Ashland Fire & Rescue, Ashland, OR
  • $360,870, State Fire Training Academy, Equipment and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), Louisiana State University and A & M College, Baton Rouge, LA
  • $372,273, Regional Request, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), Rescue Fire Company No. 1, Harrisburg, PA
  • $642,858, Vehicle Acquisition, Vehicle Acquisition, City of Tuskegee Fire Department, Tuskegee, AL
