$4,340,146 in Fire Grants Awarded in Round 22 AFG 2013

Assistance to Firefighters Grants (AFG)The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has announced the twenty-second award round for the FY2013 Assistance to Firefighters Grant (AFG) fire grants program.

FEMA awarded $4,340,146 to 59 Fire Service organizations throughout the US. Awards included:

  • $3,515, Operations and Safety, Training, East Glacier Volunteer Fire Department, East Glacier Park, MT
  • $19,950, Operations and Safety, Equipment, Plantersville Volunteer Fire Department, Plantersville, AL
  • $63,431, Operations and Safety, Equipment and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), Dover-Foxcroft Fire & Rescue, DOVER FOXCROFT, ME
  • $110,700, State Fire Training Academy, Equipment ($123,000), Wyoming Fire Academy, Riverton, WY
  • $199,750, State Fire Training Academy, Equipment ($235,000), Oklahoma State University, Stillwater, OK
  • $225,150, Vehicle Acquisition, Vehicle Acquisition ($235,000), Mountain Volunteer Fire Department, Cragford, AL
  • $474,763, Operations and Safety, Training ($499,750), Cloquet Area Fire District, Cloquet, MN
