A department who worked with First Responder Grants has won a $11,499 fire grant during Round 5 awards from the FY2013 Fire Prevention & Safety Grants (FP&S) program. These grants are administered by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).
The Edinburg FD, Ohio, will use the FP&S fire grant funds “to start a senior/functional needs Knox Box program,” says Chief Tim Paulus.
“We are a small department in a rural community,” says Chief Paulus. “Today we broke a milestone with grant awards since 2006 in excess of $600,000. Thank you for all of your help over the years, Kurt.”
