$19,003,918 in Fire Grants Awarded in Round 5 AFG 2014

Assistance to Firefighters Grants (AFG)The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has announced the fifth award round for the FY2014 Assistance to Firefighters Grant (AFG) fire grants program.

FEMA awarded $19,003,918 to 176 Fire Service organizations throughout the US. Awards included:

  • $83,628, Equipment ($91,990), Operations and Safety, Carroll County Fire Rescue, Carrollton, GA
  • $118,096, Vehicle Acquisition ($124,000), Vehicle Acquisition, City of Cordova Volunteer Fire Department, Cordova, AL
  • $227,740, Equipment ($20,000) || Personal Protective Equipment ($233,000), State Fire Training Academy, Oklahoma State University, Stillwater, OK
  • $300,867, Vehicle Acquisition ($330,953), Vehicle Acquisition, South Pierce Fire and Rescue, Eatonville, WA
  • $336,603, Personal Protective Equipment ($336,807), Regional Request, Benton County Fire Protection District #4, Kennewick, WA
