Fire grants news from FEMA
In their January 2025 fire grants update, FEMA dropped some news we’ve all been waiting on:
“The FY 2024 Staffing for Adequate Fire and Emergency Response (SAFER) grant and the Fire Prevention & Safety grant application period is expected to open in late January 2025.”
Once FEMA announces the SAFER and FP&S dates and publishes their NOFOs, we’ll spread the word. Here’s what else FEMA had to say:
“An E-blast will be forthcoming regarding the release of the Notice of Funding Opportunity and the start date of the application period.”
