Round 5 FY16 SAFER Fire Jobs Grant Winners Announced

Staffing for Adequate Fire and Emergency Response (SAFER) GrantsFEMA has announced Round 5 fire jobs grant winners for the FY2016 Staffing for Adequate Fire and Emergency Response (SAFER). FEMA awarded 35 fire grants totaling $12,724,427, including:

  • Kirksville Volunteer Fire Department, Richmond, KY, Recruitment, $1,800
  • North Saint Paul Fire Department, North Saint Paul, MN, Recruitment, $40,000
  • Cowlitz 2 Fire & Rescue, Kelso, WA, Recruitment, $376,500
  • Hyattsville Volunteer Fire Department, Hyattsville, MD, Recruitment, $699,000
  • City of Dearborn, Dearborn, MI, Hiring, $1,795,092
