The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has announced the third award round for the FY2013 Staffing for Adequate Fire & Emergency Response Grants (SAFER).
FEMA awarded 4 hiring fire grants, totaling $13,233,669, to the following departments:
- Alachua County Fire Rescue, Gainesville, FL, $2,194,324
- Atlantic City Fire Department, Atlantic City, NJ, $8,661,585
- City of West Lafayette Fire Department, West Lafayette, IN, $1,155,000
- Saugus Fire Department, Saugus, MA, $1,222,760
