The Assistance to Firefighters Grants Program (AFG) has begun making award recommendations for the FY2013 application period. Recommendations and awards will continue on a weekly basis until all available grant funds have been exhausted.
As a reminder, an active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) is a requirement for receiving an AFG award. AFG is unable to process any award recommendation that is not current in SAM. Registration in SAM is free. To register, or validate your information, please visit https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/.
Should you need assistance with your SAM.gov account, there are several ways to get help:
- Submit a Question to the Federal Service Help Desk managed by the General Services Administration (GSA). Tell them the issues you have and how they can contact you. Use self-service by searching the Answer Center at http://www.fsd.gov/app/answers/list.
