Kurt Bradley, Senior Grant Consultant, discusses why we can expect not to see anymore Fire Grant Awards until mid-October:
“Although new rounds of Fire Act Grant awards were announced during September, we are going to have a couple of weeks without anything happening as far as awards and/or 1199a updating going on. This is because of the FY2011-12 budget closeout approaching in early October, and the new FY2012-13 budget being started up. We do not anticipate seeing any updating of 1199a’s or new awards being given out from now until mid -October.”
