New Video Presentations Available:
For FY25 AFG, SAFER and FP&S Grant Programs Applicants
The FY25 Assistance to Firefighters Grant (AFG), Staffing for Adequate Fire and Emergency Response (SAFER), and Fire Prevention and Safety (FP&S) application periods are open. To support applicants, FEMA has released new video presentations covering each grant opportunity.
This series of videos provides an overview of each program and offers helpful information to assist you in preparing and finalizing your grant application(s). The presentations are designed to help you understand program requirements, avoid common mistakes, and strengthen your overall grant application(s).

Reminder: The application periods for the FY25 AFG, SAFER and FP&S grant programs close on June 22, 2026, at 5 p.m. ET. Late submissions will not be accepted under any circumstances. Please ensure your application is submitted before the deadline.
